KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check CNC machinery is in good working order before setting up
- Set up machinery to successfully conduct the run as specified
- Conduct all programming as required
- Monitor the run throughout the cycle; checking that specifications are met
- Perform all necessary machine maintenance
- Follow safety standards at all times
- Fabrication with knowledge of MIG and stick welding
- Using measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, dividers and straight edges
- Operate other machines such as plasma table, saw or manual machine as required
- Promote good housekeeping & 5S through ensuring workplace is clean and orderly.
Qualifications:
- Team player
- Ability to read 2D blueprints
- Good understanding of General Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Calculates unspecified dimensions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Machine shop experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role preferred
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Must be able to pass a drug screen test
